ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN

Roles and responsibilities:

• Identify electrical problem areas on-site that need replacement or repair.

• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus and components using test equipment and hand tools and to locate the cause of a breakdown and to correct the problem.

• Perform repair or replace wiring when necessary.

• Troubleshoot and ensure that the electrical system is working properly before leaving.

Qualifications:

• Citizen or Permanent Resident of Brunei Darussalam.

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

• Minimum 2 years experience of electrician experience preferred.

• Completion of an electrician program at a vocational school or an electrician apprenticeship.

• Proficient with standard industry tools and techniques.

• Able to read blueprints and schematic drawings.

• Excellent communication and problem solving skills.

• Experience operating hand and power tools, soldering and fault-testing equipment.
