FINANCE SUPERVISOR​

Finance Department

​

Responsible for overseeing the financial activities of the organization, including budgeting, financial reporting, and forecasting. They will be expected to provide guidance and support to the finance team and work closely with other departments to ensure that financial goals are met.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local regulations and international standards.​

  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

  • Prepare and present financial reports to management and board members.

  • Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts.

  • Ensure that all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Monitor and manage cash flow, including the management of accounts receivable and payable.

  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to management and other stakeholders.

  • Manage the finance team, including hiring, training, and performance management.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Authority:

  • Authority to manage the finance team and allocate resources as needed.

  • Authority to approve financial transactions within specified limits.

  • Authority to make recommendations to management regarding financial policies and procedures.

​

Qualifications:​

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

  • Professional certification such as CPA, CFA, or ACCA is preferred.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Knowledge of financial management software, such as Quick Books or SAP & MYOB.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders, including internal and external auditors, regulators, and senior management.

  • Familiarity with local and international financial reporting standards.
