UNIK Celebrates Chinese New Year

UNIK had a pre-Chinese New Year celebration last week and witnessed wonderful Lion Dance performances by local troupe Hei Wang. The traditional dance was accompanied by the beating of the drums and cymbals followed by a traditional custom of "cai qing" (採青), whereby the lion 'eats' a green lettuce and 'spits out' to spread the blessing of wealth, prosperity, and good luck in the new year.
On this joyous occasion, UNIK would like to wish our clients and followers a Happy Chinese New Year to those celebrating. May the year of the Rabbit bring longevity, peace and prosperity to all.
