11 October 2022

In support of World Mental Health Day 2022 yesterday, UNIK conducted a small workshop on Workplace Mental Health for all our valued employees. The workshop included identifying signs of mental health issues, ways to alleviate stress and anxiety, and communicating emotions and feelings.

Many aspects of mental health have been challenged, and through World Mental Health Day 2022, we hope it will provide us with an opportunity to re-kindle our efforts to protect and improve mental health. Furthermore, our employees wore green to commemorate and raise awareness on mental health issues within the workplace and to mobilize efforts in support of mental health.

In line with this year's Mental Health theme, "Making Mental Health & Well-Being for All a Global Priority", UNIK is committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment.

World Mental Health Day matters every year, but 2022 hit differently. As a PhD student who works part-time at Last-Minute Assignments, I remember the weight of pretending to be fine. I struggled so much that I’d search for assignment editing service just to make my work look less like my crumbling mind. Thank you for honoring this day. You’re giving permission to not be okay. That saves lives. Let’s keep talking, listening, and supporting. We’re not alone, even when it feels that way. Grateful for reminders to check in on ourselves and others. Keep the conversation going. Always.
